About
I just finished my second year of electrical engineering at Queen’s University and I’m heading into my third. I’m from Al Ain, Lebanon, and came to Kingston to study engineering at Queen’s. I’m hoping to continue into higher education afterward.
My personal projects and course notes are open source by default, and openly available. I would rather the things I build be usable by anyone than locked away.
My longer notes live in a separate digital garden.
Most of what I build is for people who don’t usually get built for — blind and low-vision users, firefighters. The Smart Walking Stick, Aynkan, and the Firefighter Exoskeleton battery indicator all point the same way. That is deliberate.
Background
I did the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Eastwood International School in Beirut, with Math, Physics, and Business at higher level. I’m now in the BASc Electrical Engineering program at Queen’s. On campus I’m on the electrical subteams of Queen’s Knights Robotics and Queen’s Formula SAE.
Reach out
I’m open to internships, collaborating on projects, and honestly any conversation worth having. Email is the fastest way to reach me — I’m also on LinkedIn and GitHub.
And if you want to talk books — most of what I’ve read lives over on the reading map.
